This day marks an important event in the life of the person I dearly love. Today is the oath taking of those who successfully passed the 2007 Bar Examinations. I can feel his happiness. I wish I have the opportunity to be with him to celebrate his success.
I miss him a lot! I hope I can tell him how much I love him and how happy I am to see him succeed.
Alien, I hope you can read this… Know well that I will love you until the life in me ceases. I miss you a lot! Congratulations! I am so proud of you! I love you and I will always do…

COMI
For quite some time, I wasn’t able to meet the members of the Children of Mary Immaculate. I was too preoccupied to attend our regular meeting and parish service. I entrusted the responsibility of taking care of the organization and members to the other officers, especially to Geng, our Vice-President. A lot of things have changed. I don’t know what went wrong why most members lacked interest to continue their commitment or vow. They distanced themselves from the organization and preferred to focus their attention to some other things. It saddens me to see that the organization I put up for years is gradually losing its members.
There were members who left but there are also new ones. I know that most of the new members joined not because of their desire to serve but due to their need to get good grades in school. There are some schools here in our province which require students to join parish organizations in lieu of a higher grade in a subject. Though aware of this, I still welcome and accept them for I know that God will help me kindle in their hearts and minds the commitment to serve Him.
As what I have said, a lot of things have changed. I don’t blame anyone for what happened. I know I have my own share of mistakes and shortcomings. Instead of taking things in a negative way, I considered them as challenges. I talked to my officers and told them of my plans of re-structuring the organization to bring back its glory and to encourage others to join. I thank the Lord for their willingness to support me.
This afternoon, I met the old and new members. The meeting focused on getting to know one another, expectations and plans for COMI. I shared some of the things I have learned from the LTS such as the value of listening. There were games too. I had fun being with my officers and members. I’m glad to hear from them that they enjoyed the meeting and activities. From what happened today, I see a glimpse of hope that everything will be okay soon. I am confident that God will be with me in inspiring and motivating young people to work in the parish and serve as good models to others.
On May 14, we will be meeting again to prepare ourselves for the induction and renewal of vow. It is a challenge for me then to impart to my members the values that a COMI member should possess. Mama Mary, please guide me.
TO JESUS THROUGH MARY I COMMIT MYSELF…
